If you have had any sort of problem obtaining dental insurance, you may want to consider a low cost dental network or dental discount plan. Many of these plans are provided by national names in the health field. They consist of a network of dental health providers (ie dentists) who agree to offer many services at deeply discounted rates. Many of them offer very cheap, or even free, periodic checkups with cleanings and xrays to keep your smile bright!
The good news is that they will even cover services that many dental insurance policies do not cover, or do not cover very well. These services are orthodontics (dental braces), dentures, cosmetic work, and teeth cleaning. You can do a simple online search and find the plans that are available in your local area, find the dentists who accept the dental plans, and even sign up online. You will also be happy to see that the price of joining these plans is often less than $10 a month!
